Dalness House
Dalness Lodge, built in 1884, provides comfortable modern living whilst retaining a traditional Scottish Highland Lodge character. This imposing Victorian Lodge is a house for all occasions, where guests can relax in comfort in every season and enjoy the best of the Highlands on their doorstep.
Dalness is let with the services of staff including a dedicated chef and house manager there to ensure your comfort, and our experienced Head Keeper and Ghillies are there to support and advise whatever your plans for the outdoors. Guests deserve the privacy and freedom that staying in a property such as Dalness allows and very much operate on the principal of “we’re there when you need us and not when you don’t”.
The entire house and estate will belong exclusively to you and your guests during your stay with us, so you are able to fully relax in the comfort and peace that Dalness has to offer.
Accommodation
All seven bedrooms at Dalness are spacious and benefit from high-end furnishings; including king-sized double or over-sized single beds, with Egyptian cotton bedding.
Throughout the Lodge, the walls display an extensive collection of original Scottish artwork, and is furnished with modern and antique original pieces. The newly established formal walled garden is a place of peaceful contemplation, and delightful colour and scent.

Comfort & Character
Relaxing in comfort after a day in the fresh air is one of the great pleasures of a Highland Lodge stay. Dalness has underfloor heating throughout, log fires on the ground floor, and a well appointed drying room.
A comfortable snug awaits those returning from the hill or sea, and leather armchairs are tucked away in nooks for those moments of leisure. Plan your day ahead in the traditional rod room, and enjoy croquet on the lawn, afternoon tea in the garden, candle-lit dinners in the grand dining room and a picnic on the riverbank while here at Dalness.
